Are we hitting Fall yet? Apparently we just finish Second Summer, with Wednesday high temperatures that broke records. But get your sweatshirts out for this weekend.
Saturday we have our October Regatta. All boats are welcome, with a single start for all classes. I have already seen requests for crew, so if you want to race, come on out.
We should see sunny skies on Saturday, with cool temperatures just grazing mid-60s. Winds are forecast to be on the light side, clocking around from NE to E to SE through the day, and building a little bit through the afternoon. Should make for some interesting course setting for the Regatta. Sunday warms up a bit, to low 70’s, with mostly cloudy skies and punchy S winds building to around 12 knots and gusting to 20. Should be reasonably sailable, though, because S winds don’t shift too much.
