Weekend events for September 30 and October 1:

This weekend we’ll have our final Regatta on Saturday. All boats are welcome to race with a single start for all classes. Skipper’s meeting at 10:00 on A-dock, racing to begin at 11:00 on the water.
Following this, we’ll have our final Full Moon raft-up of the season off the Marina in Heron Cove. First boat on station around 6-6:30 should drop the hook and prepare to be boarded, I mean rafted-up with…
The weather for Saturday looks like it will be pretty good for racing, and might have enough clearing of clouds to see some of the full moon. Cloudy, with temps around 70º for Saturday. Winds look to start out of the North at 6 to 12 knots, swing more NW and dropping through the late afternoon. Sunday should bring much more sun and temperatures climbing to the mid-70s. Winds are looking solidly NW 7 to 14 knots, again diminishing a bit later in the afternoon. Given the very cold temps we’ve had this past weekend with the lingering nor’easter, I bet we’ll see the beginnings of some changes in trees this weekend.
