Weekend events for October 22 and 23

You know what it is folks, the Worst Weekend of the Year™. Yes, it’s Haulout Weekend. Club members will be on hand both days to help, and club power washers will be set up.

The weather looks great on Saturday, sunny and temps in the mid to upper 60’s. Winds should be nice for those of you hanging on, out of the South with light breezes. Sunday gets cloudy and a bit cooler, with threats of light intermittent showers in the afternoon. Winds are forecast out of the NNE with strong gusts from one forecast, and moderate 5-7 knots from another forecast. Not sure about that large discrepancy in windspeed.

Don’t forget you have until end of day October 31 to get your boat out of the marina slips if you want to hang on until the last minute.

On the last weekend of October, we will be doing work on the docks installing new slip number plates on Saturday 10/30 starting at 9:00. Bring your screw guns and dinghies!

Our Fall Banquet is back again this year after pandemic hiatus on November 20th at William Penn Inn in North Wales. Please follow this link to get your tickets and reserve your spot. https://nockamixonsailclub.org/product/autumn-banquet/ Dan and Marlene Reasoner will be presenting their ‘round the world sailing trip!
