All boats should be out of the marina wet slips as of yesterday. If not, you’ll be gettin’ a call from the park. This past Saturday, our last nice warm day, there was a TON of activity, with gazillions of pontoon boats up and down the lake, and getting hauled out. Nothing like sailing a holding pattern waiting for a ramp only to have a ‘toon boat motor past you and bogart a spot.
On this Saturday, we will continue our project to replace dock number plates. (There were still too many boats in slips last Saturday, and the weather was better for sailing!) We will meet at the lake at 10:00 at A-dock. Bring your screw guns and small craft. By my estimate, we have about 5 of the 20′ docks that needed numbers 45-48, and maybe 2 more 24′ docks to do. I have more number plates, and I hope they are enough to complete the project

Weather this weekend should be pretty nice, with temperatures back up to mid-60’s and light winds on Saturday. Sunday sees stronger, gustier winds out of the SW.
