This weekend, we will be having our rescheduled ULDB Regatta and Picnic on Saturday! If you can attend, please let Chelsea Strzempek know by Friday: chelseajohnson117@gmail.com 

We will have 2 racing classes of Cruisers and Racers, doing a distance race west along the lake and back. Racers will have a longer course. Following the race we will have a hoagie and potluck picnic in the park. Remember to bring your chairs and tables!

Following, on Tuesday evening we will have another Sunfish sail day. This starts around 5:30-6:00. 

Saturday looks like a warm day in the lower 90’s, with a small chance of isolated evening thunderstorms (typical summer day!) The wind forecast as of now looks great, with winds out of the southwest, our best lake direction, from 5 to 7 knots. More wind would be better, but hopefully this wind will be consistent for a good race. Sunday’s weather isn’t as good, with slightly lower temperatures but a higher chance of scattered showers and storms. Wind also looks patchier for Sunday, so come out Saturday for your best sailing!
