Hi, all, looks like we have a busy weekend this weekend. On Saturday, we’ll be having an Invitational Regatta for the regatta series. All boats are welcome, racing under Portsmouth handicap, with all classes starting together.

On Sunday we have events which should appeal to our family fleet, with a Water War scheduled for noon, and then a mid-day raft-up to follow around 1:00. Water Wars usually kick off just out from the marina, and raft-ups are back in No-Name Cove, again, just out from the marina.

The weather looks seasonably warm this weekend, with highs in the mid-80’s. There are calls for possible thunderstorms Saturday afternoon or evening, which is pretty standard for summer. Sunday will be sunny. The current wind forecast looks light and swirling all around on Saturday, with slightly more wind on Sunday as the front passes and brings the wind back to a N/NE direction.
