Fall Full Moon Raft-Up on September 26
It’s our last full moon raft-up of the season and this one is a Harvest Moon!
Join us in Heron Cove for an evening of fall sailing, good company, and boats glowing under the moonlight. We’ll enjoy some sailing before gathering up for our raft-up beginning around 5:30 PM.
The first boat to arrive, drop your anchor and start the raft! Bring a little fall festivity to your boat: string lights, autumn decorations, pumpkins, or your own special fall touch. Let’s make the cove glow as we enjoy one more beautiful evening on the water together.
This Saturday – September 26 • 5:30 PM–8ish • Heron Cove
If you don’t have a boat in the water reach out to get a ride with others.
Come sail. Come decorate. Come raft up. Come enjoy the Harvest Moon!
Sunfish: Don’t be reluctant to rig a sunfish to go sailing whenever the weather forecast looks good. Make a post before you do so, and maybe others will join you.
Racing: This Saturday will be a Regatta Series Day. Skippers Meeting is at 10am. Followed by three races beginning around 11am. After the races, everyone please plan on socializing a while at the back end of the Rigging Parking Lot. Bring along snacks to share and maybe a lawn chair or two.
I’m gone this weekend, so someone else can drag the grey box out of the shed along with the flag poles and set-up our encampment.
Don’t hesitate to join the socializing on Saturday after the races, around 3pm.
For Racing or Cruising… if you need crew to help on your boat, or if you want to crew on a boat, post a message on the NSC Facebook Group.
Save the Date: The 2026 NSC Annual Meeting & Fall Banquet will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM at The William Penn Inn, 1017 DeKalb Pike, Gwynedd, PA. A brunch buffet will be served. The NSC covers some of the $cost$ for this.
