Hey, all, we do not have any club activities planned for this weekend. That being said, be aware that the Steelman Triathlon will be happening on Sunday. This means that the marina and Rt. 563 will be closed all morning until noon, and the marina area will be congested following the road opening. Participants start arriving pre-dawn and park everywhere they can. 

Weather this weekend is looking like typical deep summer: 50-60% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening both days. I recommend a good weather radar app for your smartphone, and check it frequently. Winds are forecast at 6-10 knots from the SW both days. This will be great for sailing, but it also means temps in the high 80’s and very high humidity. 

Some have asked about the 50th Anniversary t-shirts. When they are done, we will collect all shirts, including club sponsored and individually purchased shirts. We will sort them, and then distribute them at the lake. The vendor will not send you your shirts. More info to follow once the shirts are finished.
