Hi, folks! Since it is a holiday weekend this weekend, we don’t have any club activities planned.
As a cold front moves through on Friday, we should see wonderful weather for the weekend, as humidity falls, and temperatures as well. We’ll see highs in the upper 70’s to start, gradually increasing to lower 80’s on Monday. However, with clear high pressure, we can expect some mixed sailing conditions. Wind forecasts suggest NW winds Friday and Saturday morning, and wind shifting to W for Saturday and speeds below 8 knots. Sunday is forecast to be pretty much no wind at all, and Monday we see a shift to southerly winds with speeds around 7 to 11 knots. All great boating days, but the best sailing days will bracket the long weekend.
