So this Saturday we have the return of the Fleet Racing series. Rules are that any fleet with 4 or more boats gets their own start. Some of this is race committee’s discretion as far as running the starts. Typically we have Flying Scots and Thistles, but any boat can race in Portsmouth handicap. As always, Skipper’s Meeting at 10:00 on A-dock with racing on the water at 11:00.

The weather is looking ok for Saturday, being cloudy but dry until the evening. Sunday should have showers. Temps will be cool, in the mid-60’s Saturday and low 60’s on Sunday. Winds are forecast for NE in the morning 5-6 knots, but then swinging all around and being light through the afternoon. Winds on Sunday are forecast to be stronger in the morning out of the east, but then light and swinging towards the west in the afternoon.
