Hey, all, following the Steelman Triathlon this past weekend, we are back to a regular schedule with lots of events this week. We start off Saturday with the August Invitational Regatta. All boats are welcome to race with a single start. Skipper’s Meeting at A-dock at 10:00, and racing at 11:00

Saturday night we have a Full Moon Raft-up out in Heron Cove off the marina. First boat on station around 6:00 sets an anchor, and everyone else can tie up.

On Tuesday we will have another Group Sunfish Sail. All members are welcome to join us in the main parking lot at 5:00 to get the Sunfish fleet out on the water for a practice sail. This program has been very well received this year, and is a great stepping stone to taking a Sunfish out by yourself as part of our Sunfish program.

The weather should be really nice this weekend, with lower humidity and temps in the mid-80s both days. Saturday’s winds look like 7-10 knots from the N falling throughout the day, and Sunday out of the SW 7-12 knots building through the afternoon. Tuesday we may have to look out for scattered storms.
