This weekend we have an invitational regatta scheduled for Saturday. All boats are welcome to race, with a single start for all boats. Skipper’s meeting at 10:00 on A dock, with racing on the water at 11:00
On Saturday night, we have a full moon raft up scheduled for Heron Cove, just out from the marina. This should begin around 6:30, or whenever the first boat drops anchor.
Weather should be warm Saturday, in the 80’s, with a chance of spotty showers in the afternoon. Winds should be good moving from NE to E at around 10 to 15 knots and lowering through the day. We may see a break in clouds for the raft up. Sunday should be much cooler, in the low 70’s, but probably classic teaser winds where you sit and wait for a breeze more than you sail.
We had a great turnout on Tuesday evening for Sunfish cleanup day, with 13 people coming out to prep the Sunfish fleet for use. Please see Craig Tourtellot (Hilltop Sailor) if you are interested in taking out a Sunfish. We will resume Tuesday night Sunfish sails on this Tuesday, June 6 after work in the evening.
I would also like to remind everyone that the official source of club activities is the club website. All events are posted on the website calendar.
