Hey, all. This Saturday we have the Glenn Wesley Memorial Flying Scot Regatta. Glenn was a stalwart of the Club and the Flying Scott Fleet. He sat on Fleet Council for many years, and was our webmaster. He was an incredible sailor, and was instrumental in growing the Flying Scot fleet, and helping Flying Scot and other sailors with their needs. Glenn is sorely missed. This Regatta will be for Flying Scot racers. If you have a Scot, but don’t regularly race, you are encouraged to come out and race this regatta. As usual, Skipper’s Meeting is at 10:00 on A-dock, with racing on the water at 11:00.
Saturdays’ weather is a little hard to pin down right now, depending on the track of a low pressure system. It is likely to be cloudy with periods of pop-up showers. Temps should be in the mid-70’s, and winds very light out of the N/NE directions. Sunday should be a dry but cloudy day with temperatures increasing to around 80º and winds clocking around from SE to S to SW at about 6 knots with puffs to 10 or so.
