This weekend, we don’t have any scheduled racing events, but we do have a Full Moon Raft-up scheduled for Saturday night. First boat on station in Heron Cove out from the marina should drop a hook and put out fenders around 6:00 or so.
On Tuesday night we have our recurring Sunfish night starting after work at 5:30.
Weather looks to be hot Saturday and moderating for Sunday. We have a typical summer afternoon/evening chance of scattered showers and storms on Saturday, and winds are forecast to be building from the West, so good sailing if you can stand the heat and humidity. Sunday we are expecting temps a good 10º lower in the mid-80’s but little wind from high pressure in the area. Based on wind forecasts now, Sunday looks to be a teaser day for sailing.
