It is with great sadness that I must inform the Club that long time member Dianne Paxton passed away this morning.

Dianne was significant and important member of the Club. In her role as Membership Secretary, she did more advocating for the Club, and more to recruit members, than anyone else I know. Those of us who knew Dianne knew her as a warm and caring person, who was passionate about sailing. Her activities with the Club diminished recenly as she focused on her long battle with cancer, though she always tried to keep abreast of Club activities.

I do not have any other information at this time, but as I learn more, I will pass on information.
