|1973 Ensenada 20’ Weekend/Day Sailor||
All standing rigging has recently been

good condition. Masthead Windex with antenna
and Sailcovers are included. Cabin can
sleep four, comes with its own igloo cooler and a working sink. It also has a
removable porta-potty located under the forward V-berth.
With the Trailer (add $800) It has recently been sandblasted and re-painted. Includes
a swivel trailer jack , pvc guide
posts and new led lighting.
With a Johnson 4 HP Outboard motor (add $100) It runs but needs some fuel line replacement.
With a Johnson 8 HP Outboard motor (add $500) It has an extended shaft with 12 volt charging feature and is in great condition.
I have sailed this boat continuously for almost 40 years.
It has done very well in rivers, lakes and bays. Due to its age and use, it now requires some
work, both on the hull and in the cabin.
There is a 18" dent/dimple just at the waterline on the starboard
side at midships. This has caused some weakness in the hull at this location as
well as a 5" long crack thru the gellcote and fiberglass. Also, the bunk sides have deteriorated and
will need to be replaced in the cabin. The pulpit rail is bent down slightly.

This little sloop was built around 1982 in Gainesville, FL by Ken Fickett who later went on to design aircraft. It needs some TLC, but continues to be a sturdy little boat, perfect for Lake Nockamixon.
SAIL AREA……….190sq ft
PORT ¼ BERTH…..8’
STBD ¼ BERTH…..6’8”
It has resided there for the past 13 yrs, and gave me so much pleasure and at times, excitement. I am a solo sailor, who learned to sail on this boat which is close to my heart. Because of family obligations, I’m just not able to get there as I once did nor am I capable of providing the maintainance this nice boat deserves. It comes with a trailer, mattresses for the berths, ok mainsail & jib and a very nice 150 jib that was hardly used. The boat comes with outside cushions, 2 anchors and lots of line, lifejackets, and other sailing odds & ends. There is an online Mirage Owners Club that along with the NSC, was always helpful & supportive. It is parked on lot#6 at the lake. The price is $1,000
